About Wellbeing
The Wellbeing Team is a dynamic support network, committed to ensuring that all students at Camden High School are able to connect, succeed and thrive at school and in the wider community. The team works with students to assist in the development and maintenance of emotional, social, physical and cognitive wellbeing.
Who makes up the Wellbeing Team?
The Wellbeing Team is made up of:

How does the Wellbeing Team support students?
The Wellbeing Team supports students through:
Individual counselling
Referral services
Camps (year 7 and 11)
Presentations, guest speakers and year meetings
Recognition Assemblies
Wellbeing lessons (each fortnight in year 9)
Mediation and mentoring
How do students access the Wellbeing Team?
The Wellbeing Team work together with parents, students, staff and support agencies in an effort to produce healthy, happy, successful and productive individuals.
The Wellbeing Team can support students via a system of self-referral, parental contact with the relevant Year Adviser or HT Welfare, or referral by another student or teacher.
How can parents help to support their child’s wellbeing?
Parents can support the school by ensuring that we are made aware of any health concerns. Follow up with external assistance or appointments such as GP’s, councellors or psychologists if necessary and encourage children to seek assistance if they are struggling.
